Responsibilities: Triple Play is responsible for administering, coordinating, and ensuring the quality management of short learning programs/courses in Fiber Optic Technology.
1. Program Offerings: The college offers both credit and non-credit programs/courses through its multi-disciplinary outreach arm. These programs are designed to facilitate lifelong learning and are delivered through week-long training sessions and an Interative Online Learner Management System.
2. Work-Integrated Learning: A significant portion of the Fiber courses provided by Triple Play includes a work-integrated learning component. This aspect likely emphasizes practical, hands-on experience alongside theoretical learning.
3. Establishment Year: Our institution has been offering training programs since 2012, indicating its relatively recent establishment.
4. Partnerships and Recognition: Triple Play has garnered significant recognition and partnerships with various entities such as SETAs (Sector Education and Training Authorities), municipalities, government bodies, and other stakeholders. This recognition suggests credibility and trustworthiness as a service provider.
5. Affiliation: Triple play is a Member of the FOA and and is listed as an approved Fiber Optic Trainer.
6. Geographical Reach: The college’s operations extend across multiple provinces, including Limpopo, Mpumalanga, Gauteng, Northwest, and Kwa-Zulu Natal, indicating a wide geographical footprint and accessibility to learners in these areas.
